It really wasn’t all that long ago that we were getting heckled by a crowd of only three people in rank pubs, so playing to 80,000 at the legendary Wembley Stadium was not only the very best moment of our career so far it was also the scariest and most nerve-wracking.

Thankfully, we handled it pretty well. Andy sounded all choked up with emotion at the start when he shouts “Wembley!!”, but that’s because he was choked up with emotion. You know what he’s like. Thank you to everyone who came to see us specifically and everyone who cheered and had fun even though they we were just yet another act to get through before Justin Bieber and Katy Perry! The two days we spent being part of Capital FM’s Summertime Ball were honestly so much fun. We got to walk out into Wembley wearing England shirts, and all of our thanks to Umbro for making that happen for us! We met the unbelievable Kelly Clarkson, Mr. Dave Berry, a SPICE GIRL and both Conor Maynard and Rita Ora who thankfully did not string Ryan up on the roof by his underpants for running his mouth on the radio the other week! By the way, Rita – hope you liked our cover of R.I.P. for The Sun Biz Sessions! We also got the chance to hang out with our pals The Wanted who we haven’t seen in a while due to the fact that they’re breaking America and are very busy all the time. Proud of them, though. Can’t wait to be doing the same!

All in all, a great week in Lawson history. We’re taking it relatively easy now. Preparing ourselves for the summer gig season, starting Sunday at Stoke 2012 Live. Ready to be back on stage again!! See you all soon.
